Back2Bikes

Back2Bikes is a Not For Profit organisation, that dedicate their work to bike servicing and training for the local community. As an organisation with little recognition and formed purely from a team of volunteers, my main focus was to rebuild the identity and communication design of the Back2Bikes brand. My aim was to create a playful, yet approachable space through bold colours and simple illustrations. A Brand Guidelines Document was created to ensure the new face of Back2Bikes is always conveyed in the same way. Consisting of 70 pages, the saddle stitched publication states the do’s and don’ts of the new brand image. The document covers everything from the new logos, colour palettes, typographic formatting and potential grid and layout structures. A main priority, while establishing the rebuild of Back2Bikes, was to create a cohesive and approachable design foundation.
